Presidents Choice Blue Menu Ketchup

When you eat eggs and egg whites as often as I do you’re constantly searching for ways to make them taste better. Garlic, dill, salt and pepper are great, but sometimes you need something else. You need something that you’ve put on your eggs since childhood…ketchup.

Until recently I’ve pretty much avoided ketchup. It’s not that it’s particularly loaded with calories. It’s mostly that the second or third ingredient on the bottle is always glucose or fructose, otherwise known as sugar.

Since refined sugar causes fat gain, I avoid it like the plague. Then I discovered President’s Choice’s Blue Menu Ketchup. It has 5 calories per tablespoon instead of 15 and it is sweetened with sucralose instead of sugar. More importantly though, it actually tastes like real ketchup!

Of course, too much artificial sweetener isn’t good either, but it is a fantastic treat once in a while. My breakfasts now taste great and apparently there is a whole line of Blue Menu products waiting to be discovered at the grocery store. Maybe they have a zero calorie pizza. Okay…maybe not.
